Chapter 399: Sienna Bennett Stood Alone in the Room

Sienna Bennett stood alone in the room. Her presence was completely ignored by both the Bennetts and the Prescotts. During Sienna’s engagement celebration, neither Helena nor Philip had come to see her. They hadn't even bothered to participate in the wedding preparations. They sent staff to handle everything. To them, their 'real' daughter Vanessa was the most important. No matter how many mistakes Vanessa made. She was still their true daughter. Sienna was just the adopted one. The rebellious child since childhood. But Sienna stayed calm.

She was used to this treatment for as long as she could remember. Sienna rolled her eyes and walked out calmly. When Philip and Helena noticed her, they both flinched slightly. Since when had Sienna been in there? Why hadn't they realized she was present? Helena quickly recovered and forced a smile.

“I’m glad you’re here! You sisters should be kind to each other.”

“Especially now that Vanessa is pregnant. You should be extra gentle with her.”

“The past is the past, Sienna. Behave yourself today,” Philip warned.

Sienna scoffed inwardly. Had anyone ever said such things to Vanessa? She had done nothing, yet she was told to behave? They were being overly protective of Vanessa. Afraid she might get hurt? Hah! She could only imagine how they would feel when Vanessa’s true nature was exposed later. Sienna offered a faint smile.

“Don’t worry. I’m aware she’s pregnant.”

“I’ll be on my best behavior toward her.”

Her words carried a hidden meaning. Vanessa felt a chill of fear. But she reminded herself the wedding was about to happen. What could Sienna possibly do now? Besides, the baby in her stomach wasn’t… Only Noah knew about this. And Noah wouldn’t dare expose her. Vanessa wanted to strip every bit of happiness from Sienna. At that moment, a mocking voice cut through the air.

“Hmph. I thought no one would attend the wedding of a heartless jerk and a fake witch.”

“But I’m surprised so many people showed up!”

“Why make such a big deal out of this?”

“Can’t you just sign the papers and be done with it?”

“I’m embarrassed to be related to you!”

Vanessa recoiled in shock. How dare anyone speak to her like that?! Both families turned to see a man in black pants and a burgundy shirt. He looked disheveled and full of scorn. It was Logan Pierce. He was the son of the Sinclair family. Vanessa’s cousin. The nephew of Philip and Helena. Helena instantly scowled.

“Logan! How could you be so rude?”

“Vanessa is your cousin! Don’t believe those rumors online!”

“I think people know how to tell truth from lies.”

“Sienna was with Derek for eighteen years. How is that fake news?”

“And all the terrible things Vanessa did—could those be fake?” Logan stated loudly.

He looked at everyone with contempt.

“If I had a son and daughter like them, I’d beat them to death out of shame.”

“How can you all make such a spectacle of this wedding?”

“Aren’t you aware how ridiculous this is?”

Logan’s words were sharp and insulting. The two families glared furiously. Especially Vanessa. Her face turned pale with rage.
