Chapter 75: Grant Holloway Turned to Clara Whitmore

"And you!" Grant Holloway turned to Clara Whitmore, his eyes burning with fury. "You're truly shameless. Out of all the men, you had to go after him? Are you happy now?"

Clara's chest heaved violently, her nails digging deep into her palms. She had done nothing wrong, yet she was inexplicably caught in this storm.

Connor Hayes wiped the blood from his lips, his gaze icy and terrifying.

"You saw everything we did, didn't you?" He curled his lips in disdain.

Grant's jaw tightened. "Don't you have anything to say for yourself?"

"Explain what?" Connor sneered. "That I like Clara? Or that I'm going to pursue her?"

The words struck Clara like a hammer, draining the color from her face.

Grant's fist flew toward Connor again. "You think you're worthy?!"

Staggering back from the blow, Connor immediately shielded Clara behind him. "Why not?"

The protective gesture enraged Grant further. His teeth clenched. "Of course not!"

"And what gives you the right to say that?" Connor mocked. "As her ex-boyfriend?"

"It's not over until I say it's over!" Grant roared.

Connor's eyes darkened. "You were the one who ended things. Everyone was there—have you forgotten already?"

Grant let out a bitter laugh. "So this was your plan all along."

A flicker of guilt crossed Connor's face. "You let her go first..."

"That doesn't mean you get to chase her!" Grant's voice was hoarse. "Connor, are you that desperate?"

"Get a grip, Grant." Connor remained calm. "It's over. If it's not me, it'll be someone else."

The image of Clara in another man's arms flashed through Grant's mind, shattering his last shred of rationality. Before he knew it, his fists were raining down on Connor.

Connor dodged swiftly, but protecting Clara left him vulnerable. He took several hits before finding an opening to strike back. Soon, both men were bruised and bloodied.

Meanwhile, Paige Lawson had composed herself in the lounge, determined to face Clara with grace. After freshening up, she descended the stairs—only to find Grant missing.

A waiter directed her to the garden, where the scene before her left her stunned—

Grant and Connor were locked in a vicious brawl!

"Stop it!" Paige rushed forward, trying to pull Grant away, but he shoved her aside. She fell hard onto the ground.
