After I Walked Away, My Billionaire Ex Begged Me Back

Chapter 351: Catherine Holloway Clenched Her Fists

"What do you actually want?" Catherine Holloway clenched her fists, nails digging into her palms as she suppressed her rage.

Donna Russo crossed her legs leisurely, a smug smile playing on her lips.

"My son and I have suffered terribly these past two weeks in Boston. That awful hospital bed left me aching all over, and your driver nearly ran us over. I still have nightmares!" She dramatically massaged her temples. "Surely you owe us compensation for emotional distress?"

Catherine's breathing grew heavier. "Get to the point."

"First, we need better accommodations." Donna's eyes gleamed. "I hear the five-star hotels here are exquisite?"

Trevor Russo immediately chimed in. "Mom, if we're doing this, let's get the Presidential Suite!"

Catherine closed her eyes briefly. "...Fine."

That evening, the mother and son checked into a luxury hotel near the hospital.

Though they didn't secure the Presidential Suite, the Executive Suite's opulence left them gaping.

"This bathtub is bigger than our bed at home!" Trevor exclaimed, darting around the room. "Mom, look! The curtains are automatic!"

Donna ran her fingers over the leather sofa, eyes wide. "How much does this cost per night...?"

Suddenly grabbing the room service menu, she gasped. "$288 for a bowl of noodles? Highway robbery!"

Trevor swallowed hard. "Mom, I'm hungry..."

Donna's eyes narrowed. She immediately dialed Catherine. "We're not getting proper nutrition here..."

"Order whatever you want. Put it on my tab." Catherine hung up abruptly.

The pair promptly ordered the most expensive steak and wine.

A uniformed server wheeled in their meal, arranging the silverware with practiced elegance.

"Enjoy your meal." He gave a slight bow.

Donna swirled her wineglass like she'd seen in movies, mentally recalculating: Was $50 million too modest?

Three days later, Catherine received another call from Donna.

"What? You want to visit a members-only club?" Catherine's voice sharpened.

Donna spoke matter-of-factly. "That afternoon tea you posted about looked lovely. Take us to experience it."

Catherine nearly crushed her phone. "That's invitation-only!"
