After I Walked Away, My Billionaire Ex Begged Me Back
Chapter 264: Clara Whitmore Had Just Pushed Open the Laboratory Door
Clara Whitmore had just pushed open the laboratory door when two pairs of eager eyes locked onto her.
She froze mid-step.
"Professor Warren, Professor Marsh, what's going on...?"
Elise Warren and Theo Marsh exchanged a glance before rushing forward.
"Clara," Elise rubbed her hands together, "we need your expertise on a technical issue."
Theo nodded rapidly. "We have two sets of astronomical data to process. Traditional methods are too slow."
Clara arched an eyebrow. "Massive dataset?"
"Enormous!" Elise gestured wildly. "At least five days' worth of computing time."
Clara pondered for a moment. "Let me take a look."
Thirty minutes later.
"How about this algorithm framework?" Clara typed the final line of code.
Elise stared at the screen, her eyes widening.
"My God! This efficiency..."
Theo leaned in. "Let me test it!"
When Elias Mercer entered, this was the scene that greeted him.
His two top researchers were orbiting around Clara.
Elise was massaging Clara's shoulders.
Theo held up a bubble tea. "Bought it special—30% sugar."
Elias: "..."
When had his lab become Clara's domain?
Celia Monroe strode in on stilettos, her expression darkening at the sight.
Felix Moreau trailed behind with breakfast.
"Celia, your favorite soup dumplings."
"Greasy food this early?" She shook off his hand. "And when did I ever say I liked these?"
Felix floundered. "Last week you—"
"Last week was last week!" Celia glared. "Can't you remember anything?"
Felix shrank back, silent.

Paige Lawson twirled her pen listlessly.
The fashion design course Catherine Holloway had enrolled her in was mind-numbingly dull.
The instructor droned on.
"This season's trending colors are—"
Paige yawned, her eyelids growing heavy.
Suddenly, a pointer slammed onto her desk.
"Miss!" The instructor scowled. "Pay attention!"
